No one likes to look foolish, let alone ignorant. We can’t be effective advocates for Purebred Dogs if we don’t know how to pronounce the names of our fellow breeds, but if no one tells us this stuff, how are we to know? So………..come closer.
Xoloitzcuintle. Most of us rely on the “short version,” Xolo, to get by (pronounced Show-low), but isn’t it really time you know how to say the entire name? You can do this, and if you say the name as it’s pronounced ten times, you’ll have the hang of it.
Show – Low – Eats – Queent – Lee.
or, Show – Low – Itz – Queent – Lee.
