“Scenes From a Book” Photo Challenge In Memory of Charlee Helms

Though she was taken from us far too soon in 2016, Charlee Helms remains vivid in the memory of the people she influenced.  Charlee was an avid breeder, exhibitor, groomer, and instructor, and she had a particular gift for reaching people new to dogs, and cultivating their interest in the dog fancy. She was not only a great friend to National Purebred Dog Day, she was a tireless advocate for purebred dogs and the people who owned them.  Charlee remains missed by the many people touched by her good cheer and helpfulness.

A wonderful donor who asks to remain anonymous is honoring Charlee’s memory by sponsoring a photo challenge in her name.  Charlee, a voracious reader, would love the photo theme associated with her name:  “Scenes from a Book.”

The challenge:  Our judges should be able to recognize your entry as a well known scene from a famous book using at least one purebred dog as a character.  Please note: If you enter this contest,you may not enter the Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club of America’s Fictional Character Photo Challenge;
