Artist’s Thoughts:  My goal is to catch the spirit of each animal as each is unique. I take many photos but only use them as a guideline to what I will paint. Then I jump in using an underpainting covered with vibrant pastels. My entry is a German Short Haired Pointer in its element, having the time of his life.
