The Trumpet

It’s called the “trumpet,” and it’s found on every dog. Do you know where it’s found?

The “trumpet” is that slight depression or hollow located on either side of a dog’s skull just behind the orbit or eye socket; it’s a dog’s version of what we call the “temple” on a person, and we suspect that a light temple massage feels just as good for them as it does for us.

Our image is one we’ve been wanting to share for a long time and has nothing to do with the topic other than that “Petey,” the dog doing his thing in a herding arena, has trumpets. “Petey” is owned by Claire Paulson
