The World’s First Corgi Race

Brits will famously bet on anything.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, and Baron Carrickfergus (that’s Prince William and Kate to the rest of us), now have three children, but back in 2015,  betting stakes were raised by the gambling company, Ladbrokes, recruited ten Corgis to race a track in an effort to “help” gamblers determine the name and sex of the next Royal Baby (it turned out to be a girl the couple named Charlotte). It was all in good fun, and the Corgis seemed to have a good time.
