Tool Klean’s “Tidy Teeth” Photo Challenge

We humans can have dirty mouths, but it’s not what you think. At any given moment, there can be between one million and one billion bacteria on each tooth in a human mouth making it a relatively germy environment.

Our dogs’ mouth aren’t much better.  While there are similarities in the types of bacteria found in both of our species, dogs have a greater variety of dental bacteria that humans don’t have – around 600 different species of germs, compared to humans with approximately 615 varieties. Brushing our teeth, and brushing our dogs’ teeth (different toothbrushes, of course) only does so much.

There is a solution, however, and winning this contest provides it!

We are delighted to welcome back Tool Klean, wonderful supporters of National Purebred Dog Day from its earliest days, and leaders in innovative products that wage war against pathogens using UV Light technology.  Tool Kean is generously offering two Tidy Teeth UVC Toothbrush Sanitizers, one for your toothbrush and one for your dog’s.  The Tidy Teeth UVC Toothbrush Sanitizer is compact and portable. After each brushing, simply shake off excess water, place the toothbrush in the case, and within 60 seconds the intense UVC light kills up to 99.9% of pathogens.

Bottom line: You won’t be reintroducing bacteria with a half clean toothbrush!

For all the right reasons, this challenge is named the “Tidy Teeth” Photo challenge.

The challenge: Interpret “Tidy Teeth” into a photograph that plays on the contest theme and thinks “outside the box.” Is your dog’s smile literally “tidy and clean?” Or is it fighting invisible evil?  Dazzle our judges with your creativity!

The prize: You want to win these prizes! The Tool Klean Tidy Teeth UVC Toothbrush Sanitizer offers peace of mind by sanitizing the most used personal care product owned by people – their toothbrush, as well as to dog owners who know that dirty teeth in their dog can lead to periodontal disease, pain, infection, tooth loss, and even impact the overall health of the dog.
