“Woman and Wolfhound”

When it came to Saturday Evening Post covers, most of us think of Norman Rockwell, and when some of those covers included a purebred dog, it was often a spaniel. Rockwell was associated with that magazine for some five decades, but he wasn’t the only cover artist. W.H. Coffin did over thirty Post covers between 1913 and 1931, and while each cover was of a pretty woman, this one also included an Irish Wolfhound. “Woman and Wolfhound” appeared on the October 17, 1925 cover.
