Did You Ever See “Naptown?”

You get about a nano-second to find the dog in the video below that went viral upon its release a couple of years ago. Not to worry, the music hasn’t gotten old.

When a few of America’s finest in attendance at the Navy Academy in Annapolis in 2015 decided to taylor Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk,” to reflect Academy culture, the result was pretty entertaining.  The video took a year to make, and the cast and crew of 60 (plus the Trident jazz/swing band and a duty van) used a Tuohy’s Canon 5D digital camera on a tripod. They captured aerial shots by using a drone (this is the Navy), and every single person in front, and behind the camera, was a midshipman.

The effort that was spearheaded by then Midshipman 1st Class Rylan Tuohy shut down an entire Annapolis city block, and the lyrics you heard were rewritten with a little help from Tuohy’ friends. They called their finished video Naptown Funk.   Their budget? A whopping $0.”

We think the dog at the 2:14 is a Beagle, what do you think?
