We are months away from National Black Dog Day, but it’s never to soon to celebrate your own black dog with a cocktail named for (wait for it…..) the Black Dog. It’s simple to remember:

3 oz Bourbon 
1 oz Dry Vermouth
1/2 oz Blackberry Brandy

Have one too many, and you’ll bark like a black dog. Have several too many, and you’ll just black out.
