Painting Details: WOW, I never tire of looking at this face [Bernese Mountain Dog pup after playing in the morning dew]. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Puppy toes are just SO soft!!! I can smell the fresh air…

Artist’s thoughts: I have been a dog lover since I was a you child. My parents both loved dogs and this had a great influence on not just me but my two other siblings. Each of us being devoted to different breeds. I LOVE Bernese Mountain Dogs, my sister loves Golden Retrievers and my brother Border Collies. My mother loves to research breeds and all the different traits each breed is known for. As a teenager my parents moved to a farm and got a Bernese Mountain Dog, a Leonburger as well as and Okbash ( not all at one of course). I was able to enjoy each breed and quickly realized that the Berner was my favorite. Once I was out on my own and had the means and the time, I adopted a Bernese Mountain Dog. 10 years later, I now own 4 and my life totally revolves around them, my Bernese Mountain Dog friends that I have met through our local club and social media friends who I have traveled many miles to meet in person, as well as many coming to meet me and my Berners in person. I am also became part of Bernese Mountain Dog rescue. I spend my days with our four Berners and paint Berners on commission for many friends and people all over the world.
