The Miniature Bull Terrier is rascally, roguish, mischievous “who me?” dog who is described as owning the title, “Clown Prince of Dogdom.”  Since the Mini is a smaller version of the Bull Terrier, AKC Bull Terrier judges are automatically eligible to judge Miniature Bull terriers, but as the parent club points out, “correct breed type evolved through painstaking selection for desired traits; in the Mini, it has been difficult to achieve and even tougher to maintain.”  Neither can we improve upon the statement of Bull Terrier expert, Raymond Oppenheimer, when he wrote, “Don’t forget the necessity to preserve head quality. It will vanish like a dream if you do.”
